It has a feel of a typical Manhattan
apartment with exposed brick
wall,wooden
floor and wooden ceiling. The presence of colour blue in the
space complements its masculine/industrial structure. However, it is softened by the
combination of pink and green, which comprises the complex analogous scheme
tending to complementary, being used in this
space.
The key focus of this space is the wall paper with a very strong personality yet very versatile.

Rhythm through design & colour. This space has a dramatic wall design, complemented with the
simplicity and warmth of the wooden floor and wooden ceiling. The subtle explosion of the colours transform the strong industrial look to a beautiful bedroom.
A combination of horizontal and vertical lines. Horizontal line is being used to make the space look wider and vertical line to create a strong boundary between the two adjacent walls.
Tactile and visual texture are used on two different walls.
Tactile- the right side wall using a real brick.
Visual- the left side wall using a wall paper with an illusion of a wall of a run down building.

Wall paper- I have chosen this wallpaper design to give the space a cleaner/sharp look, yet retaining the industrial feel.
Wooden floor- This medium oak has a contrasting colour variation that gives the surface a natural character.
Rug-Handwoven from blended and felted undyed
NZ wool, Links rugs work well to warm up any interior living space, and provide
great texture and comfort underfoot.
Bed- this is my preferred bed but not available in NZ market.
However, a similar design is available in Siba.
Duvet cover & sheet- this duvet cover has the perfect combination of colours to express the colour scheme of the space. This item is only available online.
